Do I Need To Bring My Own Yoga Mat?
We provide all the equipment, including mats that you will need for our classes. We regularly clean our mats. We do recommend that at some point you purchase your own mat so that you are able to practice at home.
What Should I Wear?
The most important thing is that you wear comfortable clothes which you can easily move and stretch in. Some people wear baggy, loose fitting bottoms and a t-shirt. Others wear tight, stretchy leggings and a top. As you’ll be forward bending during the class, it’s a good idea to check the neckline! Bring a jumper or fleece for the restorative/ relaxation phase of the class as your body will cool down quickly.
Classes are conducted in bare feet. Some people bring socks to wear during the relaxation phase.
In more dynamic classes you will get sweaty; some people like to bring a small towel to class.
What Is The Etiquette?
We ask that you arrive a few minutes before your class so that you have time to get prepared beforehand and the class can start on-time. Up to 5 minutes late is okay. After this, entry is at the teacher’s discretion.
If you are late, please do not enter whilst the class is sat or lying in stillness or silence. Wait until the class begins to move to take your place.
Your mobile ‘phone should be switched to silent during the class and left in your bag.
Otherwise please act with respect and awareness towards other students at all times, when arriving, leaving and during classes
