About Waltham Forest Parent Forum

Waltham Forest Parent Forum

Waltham Forest Parent Forum (WFPF) is a friendly, VOLUNTARY group of parents and carers of disabled children and young people aged from 0 to 25 in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Our aim is to  provide feedback on the development and direction of services for disabled children and young people in the borough to key policy makers and to support families through sharing experience and building networks

WFPF was founded in January 2008 by Vanessa Moore and Carol Prideaux with just 20 members. We now have 678 families and 456 other members made up of schools, borough officers, local authority councillors, charities, and other disability groups in our network

WFPF is a formal constituted voluntary group run by a steering group and supported by policies and procedures and rules of membership

WFPF activities are organised and run by volunteer parents for parents and are funded by grants from the LBWF and the DfE

WFPF is part of The National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF)

Everything we do and everything you see on this website is produced by parents for parents
