The Limes seeks to challenge social exclusion through providing opportunities for stimulating play and leisure activities for disabled and non-disabled children and young people in an accessible environment. In order to develop a child-centred provision, they encourage children and young people to participate in the decision making process and to shape the play opportunities available to them.

Barnardo's Hamara Family Project has been providing a valued and well respected service for disabled children, young people and their families in Waltham Forest since January 1990. They work with all the communities in the borough and are constantly developing services which aim to meet the needs of their service users.

Contact a Family provide support, advice and information for families with disabled children, no matter what their condition or disability. Contact a Family became a registered charity in 1979 and have nearly 30 years of experience of working with families with disabled children.

The Family Information Service, is a confidential service providing free and impartial information and support to families with children and young people aged 0-19 and up to 25 with disabilities

The Parent Partnership Service aims to offer impartial information and support for parents and carers of children with special educational needs.

Education Department - FREE specialist legal advice and assistance on special educational needs, the statementing process, SENDS appeals, annual reviews, transport requests, representation at SENDS tribunals
