Supporting families with disabled children in Waltham Forest

Supporting Dads of children with a disability or additional need

WFPF provides a dads support group run by Andreas Arnmar an expert behaviour condultant working in the borough. Dads’ Group is a group for dads, grandads, extended family and friends who support families who have a child with a disability or special need. The aim of the group is to help dads to meet and share experiences with each other.

Dads group meetings are held in cafes or community rooms around the borough once every half term and speakers often attend sessions to  share their experiences of working within the field of special needs. The speakers can be anything from social service workers, teachers, SENCOs, local politicians or parents.

The venue for the next Dads group meeting will be: Le Delice, 114 Hoe Street, Walthamstow E17 4QR. There will be food available and time for

you to ask any questions that you may have.

The next Dads groups will be held on Wednesday Wednesday 10th Feb & Wednesday 27th April 2016 from 6 to 8 PM. No booking required
